A single die.
A 6 panel grey scale comic.
Panel 1.
A man with long hair, a beard, and glasses (Programmer) is sitting at a desk looking sad.
Programmer: Folks, a friend of mine passed away recently. And that has me thinking about the strangeness of our own connection.
Panel 2.
Close up on the man at the desk.
Programmer: Without sharing too much, I have some health struggles. I hope to be here a long time and have no reason to believe I won't be. But things happen.
Panel 3.
We now see the desk surrounded by a man with messy hair (Jim) and a woman with glasses and a pony tail (Hannah) holding a key. A computer on the desk reads "403 Unauthorized". The panel is captioned: These comics are posted in 11 different locations. Right now I'm the only one with the keys to that kingdom.
Panel 4.
Close up on Hannah sitting at the computer squinting at the screen.
The panel is captioned: And even if someone else had those keys they aren't all easy to update.
Hannah: What the heck is Jekyll and what horrors did he weave from it?
Panel 5.
Cut back to Programmer at his desk.
Programmer: If one day you notice that these channels suddenly went silent you might wonder... Did he burn out? Did he get bored? Did something happen to him?
Panel 6.
Cut to a close up on a phone screen showing an app called "FaceTokGram" which reads "404 Author Not Found". The panel is captioned: And you'll probably never know. An ending can be such a quiet thing.
